I have always enjoyed working with students who learn in different and unique ways. It allows me the opportunity to be creative in instruction. There is no greater reward for me than when I get to hear a student say, “Oh, now I get it!”
When I’m not working on meeting goals in the classroom, I’m working on my own personal goals on the Crag (a climbing gym in Franklin). I really enjoy spending my free time camping and working through tough routes on the rock face.
I believe that climbing is a lot like life. You will take some falls and some of them just might crush your spirit, but you have to shake it off, focus on the goal, and know that you’re just going to have to work a little bit harder. If you’ve never fallen, you simply haven’t tried hard enough.
